Diljit Dosanjh is riding high on the success of his recently released film, ‘
Ambarsariya
.’ According to reports, the film has earned over Rs 4 crore worldwide in its two-day run at the box office.
Most of Diljit’s films including ‘Jatt & Juliet,’ ‘Jatt & Juliet 2’ and ‘Sardaar Ji’ have turned out to be blockbusters but it was not long before Diljit had been struggling with his career. During an exclusive chat with us, Diljit confessed, “Struggle har cheez mein hai. Meri job mein bhi hai. There have been many ups and downs but when you get that one push, it is amazing. When you go ahead inspite of some people trying to pull you back, that feeling has its own pleasure.”
Movie Review: Ambarsariya About his Bollywood debut, the singer-actor says that it happened just by chance. He said, “Bollywood toh apne aap hi ho gaya. I am just focusing on Punjabi films and I love Punjabi cinema. I think it is my love for Punjabi cinema that I am getting back. I haven’t earned much money through films. I have never been a producer. It’s not that I am a very talented actor. I think when we truly love something, we get the same true love in return. That’s what happened to me.”

’ is set to release on June 17, 2016, has also bagged his second Bollywood film, ‘
Phillauri
,’ where he will be seen alongside Anushka Sharma. Talking about it, he said, “Phillauri goes on the floors from the next month. After theatre visits for ‘Ambarsariya,’ I will surrender myself to ‘Phillauri.’ My look in the film is different. The film is set in a different world and it will take me some time to get into it.”
