On November 27,
Gippy Grewal and
Bhushan Kumar joined hands for two Punjabi productions and today the shoot of one of them has gone on the floors. Titled ‘Daaka’, the movie stars Gippy Grewal and Zarine Khan in the lead cast. The first poster look of the same is out and Gippy Grewal has taken to his social media handle to share it with his fans.
The title and the poster look of the movie hint at an action thriller making its way to Pollywood.

This is the second time Gippy Grewal and Zarine Khan are sharing the screen space. They were last seen together in 2014 released ‘
Jatt James Bond
’. The release date of their second outing has been kept under wraps as of now.
Coming to the behind the camera credits, the ‘Manje Bistre’ director
Baljit Singh Deo is helming the project, while the same is being bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Gippy Grewal and Ravneet Kaur Grewal. Besides being one of the producer and lead actors, Gippy Grewal has also worked on the story and screenplay of the movie, and the dialogues have been written by Naresh Kathooria.
Besides ‘Daaka’, there’s one more Punjabi movie that Gippy Grewal and Bhushan Kumar will be producing together under their respective banners. According to a TOI report, that untitled project will start rolling on April 20 this year.
