Exclusive! Wondering who is the little girl in the beginning of ‘Surkhi Bindi’s trailer? It’s director Jagdeep Sidhu’s daughter

The trailer of ‘Surkhi Bindi’ released last week and it caught the attention of one and all owing to the casting, execution, story and a little girl who opens the trailer by narrating her dreams and aspirations. That young girl is actually ‘Surkhi Bindi’s director Jagdeeep Sidhu’s daughter Rabaab.

Jagdeep Sihdu in an exclusive word with ETimes said, “It’s my daughter Rabaab, who is playing young Sargun, aka Rano in ‘Surkhi Bindi.’”
This is the first time Rabaab will be coming on the big screen. And the fact that she has been directed by her own father in her very first cinematic appearance makes the experience all the more special for the lovely young lady.


Releasing on August 30, ‘Surkhi Bindi’ stars Gurnam Bhullar and Sargun Mehta in the lead. The movie is a family oriented project that talks about dreams and reality and situations with which everyone can relate.
