‘I started watching cricket because of Virat Kohli,’ Shehnaaz Gill expresses her love for the ace cricketer

King Kohli’s fandom can never be put into words, yet his admirers try to express their love in any way possible. And now the internet has spotted a new ‘Virat Paglu’ in Punjabi actress-singer Shehnaaz Gill. In a recent podcast, the ‘Ikk Kudi’ actress Shehnaaz Gill opened up about her love for Virat Kohli and praised his style.

In a teaser of Ranveer Allahbadia’s soon-to-be-released podcast, Shehnaaz Gill was seen talking about her admiration for ace cricketer Virat Kohli. She confessed that it was King Kohli only because of whom she started watching the game, and spoke fondly about his style.




“Mene cricket Virat Kohli ki wajah se hi start kiya tha cricket dekhna (I started watching cricket because of Virat Kohli)” said Shehnaaz Gill before adding what she likes about him.

“Kehlne ka style acha lgta hai, attitude acha lgta hai, jese lad padta hai beech me…(I like his style of playing, his attitude, and the way he fights in between,” she chuckled.

“Aura hai.. Ese thodi puri duniya pasand kr rhi hi Virat Kohli ko, (he has an aura, there’s a reason why the world loves Virat Kohli),” she added.

Did Shehnaaz Gill say she would love to date Virat Kohli?

Recently, while speaking to The Curly Tales, the actress was asked in a fun rapid fire who she would date, hang out and ditch between cricketers, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Hardik Pandya. Replying to this, the actress first declined to pick anyone, saying they are all too respected. But later, after a pause, she quipped, “Date, hang out, and ditch, sab Virat Kohli ke saath. (date, hangout, and ditch, everything with Virat Kohli).”
