This Friday, on August 23rd, the Pollywood box office will see not just one but two movies hitting the big screen. On one hand, is the
Smeep Kang’s comedy drama ‘Naukar Vahuti Da’ and on the other, is
Hema Malini’s first Punjabi production ‘Mitti: Virasat Babbaran Di’.
Both the movies are from completely different genres, and have different plots.
As aforementioned ‘Naukar Vahuti Da’ is a comedy drama; it is a story of a married man, who does everything possible to bring his wife back in his life. It is situational comedy, wherein
Binnu Dhillon will be seen in an old man’s avatar as well.
Further, alongside Binnu, the movie stars Kulraj Randhawa in the lead, with Gurpreet Ghuggi, Jaswinder Bhalla, Preet Anand and Upasna Singh in important roles. The movie has been produced by Rohit Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Ruchi Trehan and Ashu Munish Sahani.
Coming to ‘Mitti: Virasat Babbaran Di’, is a movie set in the contemporary Punjab, and shows the story of the young generation taking inspiration from the yesteryears’ unsung heros.
The movie is the debut directorial of Hriday Shetty and is backed by a huge star cast which includes Rabbi Kandola, Nishawn Bhullar, Japji Khaira, Jagjeet Sandhu, Kuljinder Singh Sidhu, Dheeraj Kumar, Aakanksha Sareen, Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Pali Sandhu Shivendra Mahal, Gurpreet kaur Bhangu, Neetu Pandher, Narinder Neena, Anita Shabdeesh, Lucky Dhaliwal, Sansar Sandhu and Shohrat Singh.
