Earlier in the month of March,
Neeru Bajwa released her first movie of 2018 ‘
Laung Laachi
’. While the movie is still running successfully, the actress took to Facebook to announce the release date of her next film ‘Aate Di Chidi’. Neeru shared a poster of the film that declared that the film will hit the box office this Dussehra, 19 October 2018.
The movie will feature Neeru and
Amrit Maan in the lead roles. The duo just shared the screen in Neeru’s last release ‘Laung Laachi’. ‘Aate Di Chidi’ will showcase Amrit as a protagonist for the first time. In a conference, the actor-singer admitted that his journey began with grey shade characters; thus, ‘
Aate Ki Chidi
’ will be a fresh start.
Like Amrit, the director of the movie
Happy Bhatti
also seems to share the same thought. Happy, who earlier directed serious films like ‘Rabb Da Radio’ and ‘Sardar Mohammad’ feels that ‘Aate Di Chidi’ is a new trinket in his kitty. Though the movie will showcase the social issues of Punjab, the treatment will be comic, which has not been Happy's cup of tea yet.
Besides Neeru Bajwa and Amrit Maan, the star cast of the movie includes Gurpreet Ghuggi, BN Sharma, Anmol Verma, Karamjit Anmol, Harby Sangha and veteran actor Sardar Sohi.
