The Telugu film 'Mr Bachchan' which is a remake of the Hindi film 'Raid' was released in theatres on August 15 and the film did not run as expected. Made with a budget of Rs 85 crore, the film only grossed Rs 50 crore at the box office and following the loss incurred by the producers, the film director a couple of days back announced that he will return part of his remuneration.

Now, actor Ravi Teja has also voluntarily agreed to return a portion of his remuneration and has agreed to incur the loss on their own. India Glitz reported that Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar decided to return back 16% of the remuneration.

This gesture of the actor and director has been welcomed by the fans and netizens have praised the two for taking a sense of responsibility which has added a trust factor among the audience. The action thriller is based on the real life events of the income tax raid conducted on the industrialist Sardar Inder Singh.

The film features Ravi Teja, Jagapathi Babu, Bhagyashri Borse, Sachin Khedeker in important roles and actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda appears in a cameo role in the film. The music for the movie is composed by Mickey J Meyer.
