Rose Day: 'The very first rose I got was from a stranger,' says Delbar Arya - Exclusive

Giving someone a flower on rose day sounds cliches, but when in love these cliche things only make your day. Now whether you gave someone a flower, or received it, the memory of your first rose never fades away. Perhaps that is why when we asked Punjabi actress Delbar Arya to narrate the tale of her first rose, she still remembered it like it happened yesterday.

“The very first rose I got was from a stranger while I was working in Germany. My colleague gave me the rose and conveyed the message of a gentleman who liked me and wanted to invite me for dinner,” Delbar said in an exclusive interview with ETimes.
Now after this came the critical question, did she say ‘yes’ or ‘no’? “Unfortunately, I had to break his heart and reject the proposal because we had to follow protocols at work.”
“And on top of that, he was not my type,” laughed Delbar recalling the incident.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Delbar Arya’s ‘Tu Hovein Main Hovan’ will be making it to the big screens this week - February 10, 2023. Written and directed by Vakil Singh, the movie also stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Kulraj Randhawa, and Sajjan Adeeb.
