Punjabi cinema world is famous for producing content-rich family entertainers. The upcoming film ‘Godday Godday Chaa’ is from the very genre as well. Starring Sonam Bajwa and Tania in the lead with Gitaz Bindrakhia, Gulrezz, Nirmal Rishi, Sardar Sohi, and more in pivotal roles, the movie talks about the year-old tradition of not letting the women of a family be a part of a wedding procession back in the day. In the movie, we see how Sonam Bajwa tries to break this tradition and allow the women to have some fun.
The trailer and the songs of this movie are garnering a lot of attention, as it has an old-world charm. Besides, the BTS tales from the shoot of the movie are also going viral on social media. Today, Sonam Bajwa shared some BTS pics from the shoot, wherein she can be seen hugging an elderly woman, who the actress said resembles a lot like her late grandmother. Though Sonam’s grandmother is no more among us, the actress is sure that if she would have been alive, she would have loved the movie.

Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the movie has been written by Jagdeep Sidhu. It will be making it to the big screens on May 26, 2023.
