Qismat-2
from its makers. "We had the courage to announce our film's release date amid this chaotic Covid situation," says Mani, adding, "This was our way of showing people that we will all have to start moving forward now. We wanted to inspire others with hope and also a way forward on how to resume work in the industry that has been badly hit by the

The first schedule of the film will be shot in the UK around August 22 and the final leg of the film's
shooting
and production will move back to India. Ask them why they picked the UK for the shooting and Mani cites the UK government's organised way of functioning amid the pandemic that is facilitating film shootings there. "They have laid out such clear cut guidelines for film shootings that we are all at ease about our safety there. Though the number of people allowed to shoot are still not as much as they were earlier, it is more than what is allowed in India so far and quarantine facilities are also reliable," says Mani.
Neeru, who stays in Canada will join the shooting of the film in its UK schedule directly from Canada, followed by her return to India for the last schedule. Gippy, who is resuming shooting for the first Punjabi film in Punjab from today, after the lockdown, will join the UK leg of the shooting in August. "With one Bollywood film having started shooting in the UK, we wanted to watch them on how they proceed with the shoots and learn from them. Watching them we realised we can proceed safely in the UK," adds Mani.
