The makers of Dev Kharoud’s one of the highly awaited movies ‘Daakuan Da Munda 2’ have announced the release date of the film. Starring Dev and Japji Khaira the movie will be hitting the cinemas on March 4, 2022.

The new poster of the movie with the updated release date has recently been unveiled by the makers.

Further, based on Manga Singh Antal’s autobiography, the movie has been directed by Mandeep Benipal. Coming to the cast of the film, alongside Dev Kharoud and Japji Khaira, the movie has Nishwan Bhullar, Raj Singh Jhinjer, Lucky Dhaliwal, Preet Bath, Balwinder Bullet, and Karanvir Khullar in pivotal roles.

As aforementioned, ‘Daakuan Da Munda 2’ is based on a real-life story. This is one of the reasons why it is one of the much anticipated Pollywood sequels. The film was earlier slated to release in 2021; however, owing to the Covid-19 outbreak, the makers had to push the envelope.

‘Rabb Da Radio’ is one of the most love Punjabi cinema franchises. Starring Tarsem Jassar and Simi Chahal, the movie is highly lauded by the audience worldwide. Its first part came out in 2017, the second came out in 2019, which won the 67th National Films Awards for the Best Punjabi Feature Film, and now the threequel titled ‘Rabb Da Radio 3’ will be releasing in 2022.

The male protagonist of the movie, Tarsem Jassar himself took to his social media handle to make this announcement. To do the same he shared the title poster of the movie and in the caption, he wrote - “Rabb Da Radio 3“ will be in cinemas On 8th of April 2022 .. Shukar Malak da ��.”

Further, in the first two parts, Tarsem Jassar and Simi Chahal played the main roles. However, in the poster of the third installment, we didn’t see Simi Chahal’s name. Are the makers of the film looking for a new face for Simi’s role in the project? Or they are just trying to keep some secret from the audience? Or is this their tactic to add a stir? Well, all that can be unveiled only when the movie goes on the floor.

Meanwhile, besides ‘Rabb Da Radio 2’, Tarsem Jassar has two more big projects. He will be seen in ‘Galwakdi’ with Wamiqa Gabbi, Raghveer Boli, and others, and he also has a film titled ‘Khao Piyo Aish Karo’ with Ranjit Bawa in the pipeline. Both the movies are yet to get a release date, as their envelopes were pushed forward owing to the ongoing Covid-19 crises.

‘Daddy Cool Munde Fool 2’ is one of the highly awaited Punjabi movies. It was supposed to hit the big screens in 2020, but owing to the pandemic, it got postponed. However, now an update on the release of the movie has been shared and this Pollywood sequel will be making it to the big screens on 27th August 2021.

Yes, you read that right, starring Jassie Gill, Ranjit Bawa, Jaswinder Bhalla, Tania, and Aarushi Sharma in the lead, ‘Daddy Cool Munde Fool 2’ will be releasing on August 27th this year. It is a mad comedy-drama, a sequel to 2013 released ‘Daddy Cool Munde Fool’. The prequel had Amrinder Gill and Harish Verma in the lead and now it’s Jassie Gill and Ranjit Bawa fill in the shoes of the main characters.

This is Jassie Gill and Ranjit Bawa’s third Punjabi movie together post ‘High End Yaariyaan’ and ‘Mr & Mrs 420 Returns’. Their on-screen comic timing has been lauded by all, and perhaps that is why the makers of ‘Daddy Cool Munde Fool 2’ believed that these two fit the hill.

Further, directed by Simerjit Singh, the movie has been bankrolled under the banner of Speed Records and Collective Media Ventures.

Yes, the makers of ‘Qismat 2’ have today announced the release date of the movie, and bringing back the trio of Ammy Virk, Sargun Mehta and Tania, the film will be making it to the 70mm on September 24th, 2021.

The star cast of the movie, alongwith B Praak who has worked on the music and writer-director Jagdeep Sidhu have taken to their social media handles to share the news.

Punjabi actor and filmmaker Gippy Grewal seems to be on a roll. While he recently wrapped the shoot of his one movie (‘PaaniChMadhaani’) and began shooting another (‘Phatte Dinde Chakk Punjabi’), he has taken to his social media handle to announce another project. He is coming up with the sequel of his 2013 released ‘Singh Vs Kaur’.

Titled ‘Singh Vs Kaur 2’, the movie will be directed by Navaniat Singh and produced by Gippy Grewal. The film will be out next year, i.e., in 2021, but the makers are yet to circle a date on the calendar.

A lot of movies have gone on the floor, and the recent one to join the bandwagon is ‘Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua 2’. It is the sequel to 2018 released social comedy satire ‘Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua’ starring Harish Verma and Simi Chahal in the lead.

The first part was based on the demonetization, while the sequel’s theme hasn’t been disclosed. However, the cast is the same and so is the director Janjot Singh.

Initially, the film was scheduled to hit the big screens in September, but owing to the lockdown, the same has been postponed until further notice. Nonetheless, here’s a piece of good news for people waiting for the movie, ‘Qismat 2’ will be going on the floors in October.

Director Jagdeep Sidhu took to his social media story to share this detail. He asked his fans to ask him anything in a Q/A session on Instagram. However, before anyone could have asked anything, Jagdeep himself answered one thing - ‘Qismat 2’ will be going o the floor in October, while the release date of the movie is yet to be finalized.

Meanwhile, the work of the music of the movie has already begun.

‘Qismat’ was 2018’s one of the most loved movies. It also set the cash register ringing at the box office. And the same is being expected from its sequel ‘Qismat 2’, which seems to be going on the floor soon.
