‘Mar Gaye Oye Loko’

The trailer of Gippy Grewal’s third production ‘Mar Gaye Oye Loko’, released on the very first day of the week. The plot revolves around the case of mistaken identity, wherein Binnu Dhillon is shot but it’s the soul of Gippy Grewal which is taken away by the Yamdoot (played by Karamjit Anmol). There begins the whole madness of sending Gippy back to life. This Simerjit Singh directorial is scheduled to hit the theatres on 31st August.

‘Mr & Mrs 420 Returns’

‘Mr & Mrs 420 Returns’ made it to the box office on 15 August. The hysterical drama had Jassie Gill and Karamjit Anmol disguised as a female. The story revolved around Ranjit Bawa and Jassie Gill getting into a fake marriage for their own interests. However, the twist takes the funny turn when Gurpreet Ghuggi and Jaswinder Billa get hots for the disguised gabrus. The movie made a good opening at the box office.

‘Television’

'Television’ is the first production venture by director Simerjit Singh, who is known for his work ‘Angrej’, ‘Nikka Zaildar’, ‘Nikka Zaildar 2’ and ‘Subedar Joginder Singh’. Directed by Taj, the male lead in the movie will be played by Kulwinder Billa, who made his debut as an actor this year with ‘Subedar Joginder Singh’. The poster of the movie was shared by Kulwinder on his social media handle, however, further details have been kept under wraps. The movie is scheduled to release in 2019.

Badshah’s untitled production venture

Bashah released his first ever album of 17 songs ‘ONE’ on 17 August. In a recent interview with TimesofIndia.com Badshah said that bringing on different shades of the musical palette the album has a song for everyone. In the same interview, Badshah spoke about his untitled production venture. The movie will be based on a strong social message. Scheduled to release in 2019 January, the shooting of the same has been planned to go on the floor by September.

‘Kala Shah Kala’

Last month the first poster look of Binnu Dhillon’s production venture ‘Kala Shah Kala’ was released. The poster created a buzz by giving the news of Sargun Mehta and Binnu Dhillon sharing the screen space. This week the makers announced Jordan Sandhu as the new addition to the cast. This is the first time all these three Punjabi stars will be seen together on a cinematic front.
