Harpi Gill shares a funny fan moment; says, “I told them I am not Harpi but a friend”

The ‘Lethal Jatti’ fame singer Harpi Gill, recently did an Insta Live session with ETimes exclusively. During the same, we asked her about an emotional or funny moment. “Well, I do have a funny fan moment,” said the singer instantly.

“I remember I went out shopping with my sister in a night suit on a scooty. We were in the mall, and some boys came up to me and said, “Ma’am you are Harpi Gill right?”. I was like, no, who told you so. They said, no ma’am we know you are Harpi,” added the singer.

“I told them I am not Harpi but a friend. I made all excuses possible so that they don’t get to know it’s me. I did not want to take selfies dressed in a night suit and no make-up on. It was a narrow escape,” she said with a big giggle.

Besides this funny incident, the singer also mentioned how much lucky she feels to be loved by so many people. She feels wherever she is today, it is all because of her fans, and she can never thank them enough.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Harpi Gill will next be hitting the music charts with ‘Laal Pari’. The song’s release date is yet to be announced.

Gurnazar Chattha believes that the love that fans shower on them is the purest form of love. And though he didn’t say it in clear words, while sharing a story about his fans he did tell us how the world of fans revolve around their beloved stars. He told us, “So I have these two fan groups on Instagram, and one day I remember they were fighting over something. They are mere kids of 14-15 years, and I had no idea what they were arguing about on the fan groups. All I did was, I came online and dropped a message saying “good morning” to all and the fighting stopped then and there.”

Dilnoor

Like Asees, Punjabi singer Dilnoor also told us an emotional tale of encounter with his fans. He said, “I was at a venue for a show, and I could see two people trying to get in, but the security did not let them. So, I asked the security to let go of them. They said they wish to get a selfie, and they are like very big fans of mine. It was amazing to hear that, but what happened after that was all more touching. One of those guys had my picture as their home screen, and I felt so overwhelmed.” Dilnoor felt so touched by the gesture, and he could not believe that he has such an impact on his fans.

Shivam Grover

The ‘Tauba Tauba’ fame Shivam Grover on the other hand shared a very funny story. He told us that fame didn’t come to him overnight, he gradually made it to the list of famous faces. And during the initial days, when slowly people started recognizing him, a funny incident took place. “So I was traveling to West Delhi via metro, and a girl was staring at me continuously. After some time she came up to me and asked me you the same guy who puts up those song videos, and I said yes. Her next statement was “when you are a star, why are you traveling in the metro?” said Shivam with a giggle in his voice. “I didn’t know what to say at that time. I then replied, actually metro saves me from traffic, and then there’s so much pollution on the roads,” added Shivam while narrating his story.
