Haryanvi beauty queen, Indu Phogat makes her Punjabi debut

Beauty pageant winner in 2019 from Haryana, 20-year-old Indu Phogat has become one of the first girls to exclusively model for Haryanvi songs. The Rohtak girl has done two music videos already, Mithe Mithe Bol and Gunhegaar, and now is all set to be seen in a Punjabi music video also, besides another Haryanvi song by singer Amit Dhul in 'Maraigi Ke'.It's a romantic track that flaunts a chemistry between the singer Amit and Indu on-screen.
The company that is making this song is also producing a Punjabi song, 'Russia' to release simultaneously with 'Maraigi Ke' and is made Deep Sisai. The song was shot in Chandigarh. The Punjabi song 'Russia' will feature singer Jeet Parmar alongside Rupa Khurana and Indu.
"I want to promote Haryanvi culture on the international stage through Haryanvi songs and music," says Indu. "In order to make people aware of its dialect, language and beauty, I have worked in 'Maraigi Ke'. The song is all about the beauty of a girl, who looks very beautiful in a traditional dress. After entering Unlock 1.0, it was shot with a limited number of crew member following all the rules and government guidelines."
Describing these two songs, Deep says that everyone is in the house during the Covid and craving something new. Strictly following the government order and social distancing, both songs have been shot in only one week. "Along with defending against coranavirus, entertainment is also important," he adds.
