Reyen Eyes shares what inspired him for his upcoming song ‘Rave’; says, “I mostly dwell on my personal experiences” - Exclusive
Musical artist Reyen Eyes who has given Hindi and Punjabi songs to his fans and is famous for his tracks ‘Attitude’, ‘Katra’, ‘Shukriya’, and more, is widening his horizon in the field of English music as well. He is hooking his fans with his latest English EP ‘18+’. The artist already got his fans engaged with ‘A Lie’ and now is making noise owing to his upcoming song ‘Rave’. In his recent conversation with ETimes, he spoke about the upcoming song, what inspired him to make it, and much more.

Can you tell us more about your upcoming song 'Rave' from your album ‘18+’?
“I chose ‘Rave’ to be the flagship single from this album as it swims on top of the aesthetics and ideology behind the album. It was a somewhat different experience fusing electronics with pop.’
“Life is a continuous change. My album "18+" kickstarted with ‘A Lie’ because everything starts with a lie. I believe there is a fine line between opposite things so lies can be easily transformed into bonds and trust. Production wise ‘A Lie’ is more about having an acoustical balance with the most common pop underlying.”
What inspired you to write 'Rave' and what message do you hope to convey through it? “I mostly dwell on my personal experiences and constantly observe and question what I see. Art is a subjective issue and I hope to rather create a blank canvas for people to see what they want. In my personal context, Rave is not a solution but rather a realization of being completely on your own.”

What can your fans expect in terms of visuals or music videos for this new release?
“The visuals part of ‘Rave’ is equally well-done visuals by Team Crevixa and Drowzy Media. Once again, it was such a pleasure to work with these professionals who are a part of revolutionizing the modern Indian music scenario. To find such a like-minded and loving team on set was an incredible experience. Their approach toward targeting international audiences is significant.”
Are there any exciting collaborations or projects you have in store for your fans after the release of 'Rave'?
“Indeed! I am finalizing my next single already, and working on collaborations with other wonderful artists here in our country who have the same passion and level of introspection. Rave itself features my sister who steals the show with her cameo (laughs). I’m really excited to keep up with the hype of Rave and keep dropping music consistently.”
It's your first English album, what made you come up with an English EP?
“The way it happened, I just think I felt I had more of a scope, more new things to try and create while working with English songs. Maybe it was because I studied them more, or the genres are varied and diverse. And creativity has always been my first priority. This is who I am. Now that I felt the time was right, and the skills acquired. I am ready to face the world with my music.”
