I'm fed up of being single: Sadaa

South siren Sadaa is planning her big return, and this time around, the actress feels she’s ready to settle down.
I'm fed up of being single: Sadaa
She’s done the rounds in all four southern film industries, but took a four-year hiatus from Sandalwood.
Her prolonged absence from the big screen, however, is something that she had no control over, she tells CT. “I had three Bollywood releases lined up and they hit rock bottom successively. Click opposite Shreyas Talpade was the only film that finally hit screens, but was grossly under-promoted.

I blocked all my dates for these films and missed several projects down south in the bargain, including Chandramukhi and Aptharakshaka. Looking back, all I can say is, ‘ It’s a lesson well learnt.’”
And it’s with the same optimism that Sadaa is forging ahead with her next project, the Ravichandran-starrer Mallikarjun, which is still on the floors. “I’ve just finished shooting and am taking off for a quick holiday. I am going to relax this Christmas as I have no energy to party or do anything special. All I want to do is sleep,” says the actress.
With a Kannada release round the corner and one more in hand, two Tamil films that might see a Pongal release and two delayed Hindi films, Sadaa sure has her hands full, but she’s game for more in the New Year. “I’m looking to sign a few Telugu projects, but am looking to work with production companies I can trust. Malayalam may not be an option right now, though if competitive remunerations are offered, why not?” says Sadaa.
Even though 2011 is going to be a full year for Sadaa film-wise, that isn’t stopping her from making other plans. “I hope to get around to starting my animal shelter, start dealing with my over-sensitivity to things around me, work on my impatience and hyperactivity (which annoys a lot of people), and finally finding Mr Right. I’m fed up of being single!” she says.
Has she drawn up a list of must-haves in her ideal man? “He has to be loyal because I’m possessive; he should be really tolerant; should be good-looking, of course; he should be sweet, humble and a family person. He should also love my family and accept me for who I am,” she says. Is there anyone she knows like that? “I’d want someone with a personality like Hrithik Roshan; the charisma, spontaneity and charm of Shah Rukh Khan; the loving and tender caring of a friend; and the cuteness and hotness of Tom Cruise in Top Gun.”
