Remake time for Sattam Oru Iruttarai

The 1981 hit film, Sattam Oru Iruttarai, which catapulted its lead actor Vijayakanth and director SA Chandrashekar to stardom, is being remade in Tamil.
The original version of the film was released in several languages including Telugu, Kannada and Hindi, and was declared a hit at the BO.
Now, director SAC is all set to remake the film in Tamil with a new set of actors and technicians.
A source close to SAC confirmed, “The script of Sattam Oru Iruttarai will be altered accordingly to suit the taste of today’s audience. The film will be set in a totally different scenario and will be shot using the latest technology. Auditions for the actors and the technicians are going on. We will officially announce the project soon.”
