'Amaran' box office collection day 4: Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi starrer collected Rs 83.45 crore

The Tamil film 'Amaran', starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, has emerged as a major box office success since its release on November 2, 2024. The biopic, which tells the inspiring story of Major Mukund Varadarajan, has been performing impressively, raking in an estimated Rs 21.50 crore on its fourth day, bringing its total collection to approximately Rs 83.45 crore.

As per the trade analyst Sacnilk, on its opening day, 'Amaran' grossed around Rs 21.4 crore, followed by Rs 19.15 crore on the second day and Rs 21.4 crore on the third day. The film's strong performance is reflected in its occupancy rates, with Tamil screenings achieving an impressive 84.61% occupancy on Sunday, November 3. Morning shows recorded 73.80%, while afternoon and evening shows saw occupancy rates of 89.91% and 91.63%, respectively.





Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, 'Amaran' the film also features Bhuvan Arora and Rahul Bose in significant roles. The film has received positive reviews from both audiences and critics alike. The biographical action war film tells the inspiring story of Major Mukund Varadarajan, a brave officer in the Indian Army who was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his bravery during a counterterrorism operation in Kashmir.

The film stars Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, with Sai Pallavi portraying his wife, Indhu Rebecca Varghese. The story also captures the couple's love story, from their college days to Mukund's commitment to serving in the army, despite challenges posed by family disapproval and the dangers of military life.
