The Tamil periodic action drama 'Captain Miller' was released in theatres on January 12, 2024. Directed by Arun Matheswaran, the movie stars Dhanush, Priyanka Arul Mohan and Shiva Rajkumar in lead roles and the film's music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The film in three days has managed to gross Rs 23 crore at the ticket window.
The film on day 1 of its release grossed Rs 6.5 crore and on Saturday and Sunday, day 2 and day 3 of its release minted Rs 7.5 crore respectively. The film has been receiving lukewarm response and is running at a steady pace in theatres.
Captain Miller Movie ReviewAccording to a reports in India Today, the film is running with a occupancy of 47% in Tamil Nadu. Captain Miller is a period action drama set in the 1930s. The film shows a former British Army soldier who saves his home town from getting destroyed by the British Army.
Dhanush is one of the bankable actors of Kollywood and it is expected that his film will perform well in theatres for one more week and minimum gross Rs 50 crore at the box office by next Sunday.
