Directed by Madonne Ashwin, 'Maaveran' is a fantasy action drama, starring Sivakarthikeyan, Aditi Shankar, and Mysskin in lead roles. The movie has already made a gross of Rs 50 crore at the box office in 5 days, and the production house has also made an official announcement. Now, on July 19, the movie has managed to make Rs 6 crore, and it is running steadily in theaters.
Reportedly, the theater occupancy for the movie is still running at 40% on weekdays and 90% on weekends, making it march towards Rs 100 crore. It is expected that the film, by the second weekend, will cross the mark of Rs 100 crore at the box office. The film was also released in Telugu, and it is running well in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as well.
'Maaveran' has received a lot of positive reviews, and director Madonne Ashwin has been critically acclaimed for his effort to make a good movie. With 'Maaveran' running exceptionally well, the movie is now the 6th highest grosser of 2023 in Tamil Nadu.
