Would you like to see more collaborations between Sivakarthikeyan and AR Murugadoss?
With a 3-star rating, an excerpt from ETimes review for the film reads, “Sivakarthikeyan's robust performance and Vidyut Jamwal's swagger power Madharaasi in a big way. The former, with his beefed-up look, is a far cry from the roadside Romeos that we have seen him play in the early years of his career, and his intensity during the action sequences establishes that he's now in the big league. As for the latter, after Thuppakki, he gets another memorable antagonist role, where he puts his brawn and screen presence to superb use.
Madharasi was promoted as a mass entertainer with Sivakarthikeyan in the lead, joined by a big cast including Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, Vikranth, Prem Kumar, and Monisha Vijay. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the much-talked-about collaboration had audiences expecting something special but failed to impress the audiences. Vidyut's performance is getting good responses.DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers in this article are compiled from our proprietary sources and diverse public data.
