fame will be helming Vijay Antony’s next. Naveen, who is currently wrapping his second film, says that his film with
Vijay Antony will be a racy action thriller. “It will be quite modern, with Europe being the major setting of the film. At the same time, it will also have emotions driving the action,” he says.
The director gushes about his hero’s humility, saying, “Despite being an in-demand hero, Vijay Antony is humble. I’m not a good narrator of my scripts, and he had heard this about me. So, he told me that it was not necessary for me to narrate mine, saying, ‘I have seen Moodar Koodam and you can make a film’. However, I insisted he listen to the story and narrated the script, and he was impressed. He even asked me to consider him not as a hero, but as a member of my team.”
While Naveen is cagey about revealing information on the plot and the character of his protagonist, he says that this will be a big-budget film shot across many European countries. The team is on the lookout for a well-known actress for the heroine’s role, and is looking at an actor with a bilingual market to play the antagonist.
