Abbas returns to Tamil cinema after a decade, joins G.V. Prakash’s new film; shooting in full swing

Actor Abbas was a standout in Tamil cinema in the 1990s as the chocolate hero. He made his debut in the film industry in 1996 with the film 'Kadhal Desam' directed by Kathir. He later played the hero and lead roles in successful films including 'V.I.P.', 'Poochudava', 'Padaiyaappa', and 'Suyamvaram'. The last film he acted in in Tamil was 'Ramanujan', released in 2014. After that, due to the lack of new opportunities, he moved to New Zealand and started working in a field other than cinema.

Abbas makes his comeback

Prakash has been signed to play a lead role in a new film directed by debutant director Mariaraja Ilancheliyan. Prakash Kumar was last seen in 'Kingston', the sea-fantasy drama released in theatres last April, is now streaming on a popular digital platform.
