Actor Sayaji Shinde was admitted to a hospital in Maharashtra after he complained of severe chest pain. The actor has now taken to social media to share a video and has given an update regarding his health.

Sayaji Shinde has made a name for himself in the Indian cinema and he has appeared in numerous films in Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam. In Tamil, Shinde gained popularity by playing the role of Mahakavi Subramania Bharati in the biopic drama of 'Bharathi' and he has acted in the Tamil films 'Baba', 'Azhagiya Tamil Magan', 'Poovellam Un Vaasam', 'Dhool', 'Aadhavan' and many more.

The actor was diagnosed with multiple blocks in arteries leading to suffering a severe chest pain. He underwent an angioplasty surgery and is recovering well. The actor in his video said that he is doing well and explained in Marathi that he has heart blockage. The caption of the video reads, "Hi, I;m very well, all the fans who love me, my well wishers are with me, nothing to worry now, will be there for your entertainment soon. Thank you."
