Actor Tharshan granted bail after a scuffle near his residence

Actor Tharshan was recently involved in a dispute near his residence in the Mogappair East area of Chennai. The incident reportedly occurred when a few individuals parked their car in front of Tharshan's house and went nearby to have tea. This action led to a disagreement between the individuals and Darshan’s side, eventually escalating into a heated argument.

Altercation escalates, one injured

According to Nakkheeran, the situation took a turn for the worse, resulting in a physical altercation. During the scuffle, one of the individuals identified as the son of a judge sustained injuries and was later admitted to a hospital for treatment. Following the incident, the injured party lodged a police complaint against Tharshan at the JJ Nagar police station.

Police inquiry and arrest follow complaint

Acting on the complaint, the JJ Nagar police summoned Tharshan for an inquiry. After initial questioning, the actor was arrested in connection with the case. Seeking legal relief, Tharshan approached the Madras High Court with a bail plea. When the matter came up for hearing, the court reviewed the petition and granted him bail, providing temporary relief amid the ongoing legal proceedings.

Bail granted; Darshan files counter complaint

Meanwhile, Tharshan has also filed a counter-complaint against the judge's son and the others involved in the incident. In his statement, he alleged that he was the one assaulted during the altercation. The police have taken note of his complaint and are conducting a parallel investigation to determine the full sequence of events. With both sides presenting contrasting versions of the incident, authorities are expected to closely examine CCTV footage and witness accounts to ascertain the truth.
