Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan ended up catching up with each other at work on Thursday, and pics of the two veterans have gone viral. The two actors are shooting for their respective films — #Thalaivar170 and Indian 2 — in Chennai, and interestingly, both shoots are now taking place in the same studio!
A source tells us, "The last time both these stars' films were shot side by side was in 2002, when the Superstar was shooting for Baba and the Ulaganayagan for Panchatanthiram."
Giving us how the latest meeting took place, the source informs, "Rajini sir, who is shooting for TJ Gnanavel's film, had heard that Kamal sir would be shooting for Shankar's Indian 2 in the adjoining floor. He had mentioned to his team that he was planning to greet Kamal after putting on his makeup. However, by around 8.30am, Kamal sir surprised him by walking on to the set."
The two stars, who are good friends, embraced each other, and chatted for a few minutes, recalling their earlier years, when they used to shoot together, and also discussed their current projects, adds the source.
