The most anticipated film 'Thangalaan' has been released in theatres today, August 15. The period action drama helmed by Pa Ranjith stars Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan and Daniel Caltigarone in lead roles and the music for it is composed by GV Prakash. The film is clashing at the box office with two other Tamil movies - 'Raghu Thatha' starring Keerthy Suresh and 'Demonte Colony 2' starring Arulnithi, which are also releasing in theatres the same day.

Actress Keerthy Suresh, who worked alongside and shared screen space with him in the film 'Saamy Square' took to social media last night to wish the actor for his film. In a statement on X, Keerthy Suresh said, "Feeling so elated and privileged to have a release along side with Vikram sir, the man whose posters from Anniyan were on my study table! Wishing you @chiyaan

Apart from the team of 'Thangalaan', the actress also wished the cast and crew of 'Demonte Colony 2' which is releasing today. Stating humorously, she also wished her filmmakers 'Raghu Thatha' also for a success. Before Keerthy Suresh, actors Suriya and Dhanush extended their support for 'Thangalaan' and wished actor Vikram and director Pa Ranjith for film's success.
