Aishwarya Rajesh to play a salesgirl in her next film

Aishwarya Rajesh is among the few actresses in the industry who has been dominating the space of content-driven films in

Kollywood

. Next up for her is director SG Charles’s (of Lock-Up fame) film, which is said to be a thriller-comedy.

Charles, who has already begun shooting this yet-to-be-titled film, says, “We’ve gone up a notch higher with Aishwarya’s characterisation in the film. She plays a salesgirl in the film, someone who shows strength and can’t be defeated. Her ideology is similar to the kind of ideology Arvind Swami’s character in Thani Oruvan portrays. But Aishwarya’s character in the film depicts a positive one.” On roping in Aishwarya for the role, he says, “This character is about a girl who lives in north Madras. We felt she would be perfect for it.”

The film also has Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, Redin Kingsley, Deepa Shankar, Sunil Reddy and Sha Ra in important roles.
