'Ajith 62' muhurat puja completed; THESE two stars join the cast

Ajith was supposed to join hands with director Vignesh Shivan for his 62nd film, but the plans got changed and Magizh Thirumeni is now roped in to direct the film. Ajith's 62nd film has been tentatively titled 'AK 62' aka 'Ajith 62'. The muhurat puja of the film reportedly happened last Monday (Feb 21) in Chennai, and the makers are waiting for the right time to launch the film officially. Ajith didn't attend the muhurat puja, where the director and a few other members of the crew were said to have attended the event.

Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to score music for the film and it will be the composer's third association with the actor 'Vedalam' and 'Vivegam'. Nirav Shah, who handled the cinematography for Ajith's last three films, will be handling the camera for Ajith starrer for the fourth continuous time, and the film will be overall fifth film for the cinematographer with the actor. Arun Vijay and Arulnithi were said to be approached for crucial roles in the film, but it seems like just a social media rumor spread by fans.

The makers of 'Ajith 62' have reportedly locked 3 options for the film's title and the film's official announcement is expected to have the film's title as well. Reported to be an action thriller, the shooting of 'AK 62' will be commencing in March, and the release date of the film depends on the film's progress.
