Ajith reveals, "I have witnessed Baby Shalini's film shoot, never imagined we'd marry

Ajith and Shalini are one of the star couples of Kollywood and they just celebrated their 24th anniversary yesterday, April 24. The couple over the years have been setting multiple relationship goals. The duo had a special celebration held at a hotel in Chennai yesterday and fans were elated to see the photos of the two. With the couple's anniversary, the internet was filled with many old videos and pictures of Ajith and Shalini, and the netizens found interesting interview clips of actor Ajith.


Dating back to one of the old interviews, Ajith revealed that he had seen Shalini shooting for a film when she was a child artist and never imagined that he would end up marrying Baby Shalini. Ajith said that he was living in Mandaveli when he was working in 1986 or 1987, they were shooting for the film 'Shankar Guru' and when he used his balcony secretly to smoke, he noticed a film shooting was going nearby and he saw Baby Shalini shooting for a film. The actor said that it was a small incident and he never realised that he would be married to her.

Ajith and Shalini have been married together for 24 years and the duo tied the knot in 2000 after they acted together in the film 'Amarkalam'.
