Actor Ajith is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Thunivu' directed by H Vinoth. Billed as a bank heist thriller, the film stars Manju Warrier as the female lead. The movie is all set t0 release in theatres on January 11 clashing at the box office with Vijay's 'Varisu'.
With just 4 more days left for the film's release worldwide; the promotions for the movie are happening on a high scale and the film's poster was promoted at the American stock exchange Nasdaq, situated in New York. 'Thunivu' made the record by becoming the first ever Indian film to be promoted at Nasdaq. Sharing the poster on social media, the international distributor of the film said, "First ever Indian film promoted at Nasdaq. Take a selfie with the #Thunivu video at Nasdaq from Jan 9th and win free tickets for #ThunivuPongal."
The Ajith starrer has a huge expectation and the trailer launched on December 31 now has more than 50 million views. The film's first day first show in Tamil Nadu is scheduled at 1 am in Chennai on January 11; however the film will premiere in the US on January 10.
