Ameer to play Vijay Sethupathi’s role in Vada Chennai?

With Vijay Sethupathi choosing to opt out of Vetri Maaran’s Vada Chennai because of date issues, we hear that the team is now in talks with Ameer to step in for this role. A source confirmed, “Yes, we are in talks with Ameer. The second schedule of the film is complete and we will be sorting out the details of the next schedule within a week.” Ameer is likely to be part of this schedule.
Dhanush, who plays the lead in this gangster epic, is currently shooting for his Hollywood film in Brussels, Belgium.When we reached out to Ameer, he maintained, “The director has approached me for the role, but I am yet to take a call on taking it up. I will be informing them of my decision in two days.” Ameer informs that he has completed 30 days of shoot of his directorial Santhana Devan, which also stars Arya and his brother Sathya, and the next schedule will begin after the Ramzan fasting period is over.
