A source reveals, “The festivities started at the two households on Thursday. The
mehendi
ceremony was an all-green affair, with even the guests turning up in shades of green. The event happened at Kajal’s Marine Drive home in Mumbai. A few family functions, including
haldi
, were held at a banquet hall near her home today.”
We have learnt that the wedding, which was earlier said to take place at her home, will be happening at a star hotel in Colaba. “However, the guest list is capped at 50,” the source says, adding, “Kajal and Gautam are colour coordinating for the main ceremony, and are going completely traditional with their
lehenga
and
sherwani
, respectively. A few more events have been planned before and after the wedding as well.”
Meanwhile, Gautam also performed a small poojai and homam today at his home.
