Several celebrities have been contributing in different ways to help people in need as the world continues to fight the coronavirus pandemic. Now,

Kollywood

singer-turned actress Andrea Jeremiah has joined hands with choreographer Jeffery Vardon and actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar to raise funds to support the needy and less privileged. And they have done it quite creatively by organising a

lockdown

talent hunt with the aim to promote talented budding artistes and also raise funds for the social cause. Andrea in a short video, which is shared on her social media pages, has made a shout out to all bathroom singers to register themselves for the contest. Going by the poster, the singing talents will be judged by Andrea, whereas the dance entrants will be assessed by Jeffery and Varalaxmi.

Andrea has been quite active on social media during the lockdown. She has even been posting her baking videos. Recently, she even did a short film titled ‘Lockdown’ along with Aadhav Kannadhasan. The three-minute short film, directed by Aadhav, was completely shot on a mobile phone. The short film, which is a thriller, captures the events that unfurl after a young woman decides to step out for a birthday party during the lockdown.

On the film front, the teaser of ‘Kaa’, a forest-based thriller in which Andrea plays the lead, has been released, recently. Interestingly, reports say that the film has no songs in It and the actress will be seen in only one outfit all through the film. It is said to be shot completely in Andaman, Western Ghats and Jharkhand.
