Anirudh Ravichander reveals 'Vettaiyan' will offer a unique addition to Rajinikanth's filmography

Superstar Rajinikanth is all set for the release of his upcoming film 'Vettaiyan' on October 10. Directed by 'Jai Bhim' fame TJ Gnanavel, the film boasts a stellar cast including Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, Abhirami, Manju Warrier, and Rakshan. The music for the film, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, has already made waves with the first single, 'Manasilaayo', receiving an overwhelmingly positive response.

In a recent interview with the YouTube channel Rednool, Anirudh Ravichander revealed that 'Vettaiyan' will be a refreshing departure for Rajinikanth. He expressed his admiration for 'Jai Bhim' and shared that after listening to TJ Gnanavel's narration of 'Vettaiyan', he was convinced that being part of such a project would add a new dimension to the superstar’s filmography.

Anirudh also mentioned that 'Vettaiyan' is crafted to resonate with the sensibilities of today's audience, highlighting the film’s strong content and its potential to make a significant impact. Having previously composed for Rajinikanth's films 'Petta', 'Darbar', and 'Jailer', Anirudh emphasized that 'Vettaiyan' will offer a distinctly different experience for Rajinikanth fans.

With the film's release just 20 days away, the makers have scheduled a grand pre-release event in Chennai on September 20. Notably, 'Vettaiyan' will enjoy a solo release, as Suriya's 'Kanguva' has opted out of a box office clash, ensuring Rajinikanth’s film gets the spotlight.
