It is being said that the elegant actress has made up her mind to only sign those films which give importance to her character and is planning to team up with directors and producers who are close to her. Also, she has decided to do not more than one or two films a year to give the best to her performances instead of making films in a rush. But the actress has not yet made an official statement regarding the same.
Anushka Shetty is said to pair opposite
Kamal Haasan in the sequel of blockbuster cop drama '
Vettaiyadu Vilayadu
', and the film is to be directed by Gautham Menon.
Meanwhile, 'Silence', which is being directed by Hemant Madhukar, was shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, and the Telugu version is titled '
Nishabdham
'. The film stars Anushka Shetty and Madhavan in the lead roles, with Anjali, Michael Madsen, Subbaraju, Shalini Pandey, and Srinivas Avasarala in supporting roles.
