’. If reports are to be believed, the actress will be paired up with Karthi in

Muthiah

's directorial. Karthi has planned to do a rapid rural drama with director Muthiah, and he will be finishing the film ahead of 'Sardar'. Aparna Balamurali is in talks to play the lead role opposite Karthi, and the official announcement will be made once the final documents are settled.

Aparna Balamurali last delivered a lovely performance with 'Soorarai Pottru' opposite Suriya, and she has developed her fan base with it. Now, the pretty actress will be pairing up with Suriya's brother Karthi next, and she is expected to shine more with this role. Aparna Balamurali is also said to be playing the leading lady opposite RJ Balaji in the 'Badhaai Ho' Tamil remake.

Karthi will be sporting a rustic look for the rural entertainer with Muthiah. The star is currently shooting for Mani Ratnam's upcoming film 'Ponni's Selvan and the Muthiah’s directorial will go on floors, once Karthi wraps up the shoot of Mani Ratnam’s film.
