Sriya Reddy-starrer long-delayed ‘Andava Kaanom’ was supposed to release earlier in June. However, the release was subsequently delayed due to reasons unknown. Now, the makers have now unveiled a new interesting teaser of ‘Andava Kaanom’. Unveiling the new teaser on Twitter,

Directed by debutant Velmathy, a former assistant of
Suseenthiran, the film, apparently, is all about the search for a precious utensil (Anda).
Apart from Sriya, the film will features a lot of newcomers. In the film, Sriya plays the role of a bold woman named Shanthi, who loses her Anda (utensil), which forms the crux of the story. This in turn creates a ruckus in her village. The rest of the film is about how Shanthi finds out her missing Anda with the help of the villagers.
‘Andava Kaanom’ is produced by JFK Film Corporation, which has bankrolled films like ‘Paradesi’, ‘Thanga Meengal’ and ‘Taramani’ to name a few. According to reports, ‘Andava Kaanom’ is all set for a release on October 18 and will clash with ‘
Sandakozhi 2
’ and ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’.
