’s next
production
venture, titled
Andhaghaaram
, was released on Sunday evening.
“It’s a supernatural suspense thriller that has been shot in and around Chennai.
Arjun Das (of Kaithi fame), Vinod Kishan, Pooja and Kumar Natarajan play the leads in the film. There are three stories, and they play the leads in these stories. It’s not an anthology, but these stories are connected to each other,” informs director

Interestingly, the director had started work on the film in 2014. “I had done a pilot with my actors first, to assess the look and feel of the film. We released a teaser as well and then, producer Sudhan sir came into the picture. We started shooting the film in 2016 and finished it last year. There’s an indie feel to it, but it’s not an experimental film. We then reached out to Atlee sir and showed him some footage. He was busy with his film at that time and so, he took some time to watch it. Now, he’s associated with the film,” says Vignarajan, who adds that the trailer of the film will be released tomorrow.
