‘Arudra’ Poet Pa. Vijay’s next to hit screens on August 31

After the success of 'Strawberry', lyricist turned actor-director Pa. Vijay is all set for his second flick 'Arudra’ to hit the screen this August 31. The movie is said to be a social thriller based on true events.

Written and directed by Pa. Vijay, the movie is bankrolled by Thenandal Studios Limited alongside Pa. Vijay himself. Vidyasagar has composed music for the film.

The film has S.A.Chandrasekar, Bhagyaraj, Y.G. Mahendran, Rajendran, Mayil Samy and Sanjana Singh while Meghali is making her debut in Tamil with this film.

The film will reportedly create awareness among children, mostly girls on the social issues they face day in and day out.
