Arun Vijay's 'Borrder' pushed from the February 24 release

Arun Vijay delivered three films in 2022, that includes two theatrical releases and one direct OTT release. Arun Vijay starrer 'Borrder' should have been the fourth release of the actor in 2022, but the film got delayed due to some reasons. After backing out from a couple of occasions 'Borrder' was locked to release on February 24 and the announcement was made last December. The makers have also built some buzz for the film with online and offline promotions. But the makers have reportedly stepped back again as the film is said to be postponed to release once again with just days to go for the release.

The first single from 'Borrder' was supposed to be unveiled yesterday, but the makers postponed the song release in a mark of respect for actor Mayilsamy, who passed away due to a heart attack. The first single has been titled 'Velvom Mannilae', and it is said to be a song dedicated to all the Jawans. The new release date of 'Borrder' is expected to be made soon and we have to wait to hear from the makers regarding the reason for the film's postponement.

'Borrder' marks the reunion of Arun Vijay and director Arivazhagan after the superhit cop thriller 'Kuttram 23' in 2017. Arun Vijay plays an army officer in 'Borrder' and the major portion of the film has been shot in Delhi. Regina Cassandra and Steffy Patel play the female leads, and the film's music composed by Sam CS is also expected to be high on action.
