Athira Raj roped in as the female lead for Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi's 'Veeran'

Music director turned actor Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi has now joined hands with 'Maragatha Nanayam' fame director ARK Saravan for his next film. Now, the latest report is that a young Malayalam actress was roped in as the female lead for Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi's 'Veeran'. The film started rolling yesterday with a muhurat puja. Malayali actress Athira Raj, who shot to fame for the viral short film 'Ethazhakaanu Nee', has been roped in to play the female lead in 'Veeran', and she has been spotted in the muhurat puja pictures of the film.
Athira Raj has already marked her debut in Kollywood with 'Amigo Carage' opposite Mahendran, and 'Veeran' will be the young actress's second Tamil film. 'Veeran' marks Hiphop Tamizha's sixth film as a hero, and he has got six new heroines as a pair so far.
Director ARK Saravan 'Veeran' is said to be a rural entertainer, and the pictures of Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi and Athira Raj in traditional attire from the set also confirms the same. Aadhi will also be scoring the music for the film.
