Mansoor Ali Khan's controversial statement over actress Trisha has turned into a huge topic, while several cinema stars have been registering their comments against the actor. Now, veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja has registered his statement on Mansoor Ali Khan's comment on Trisha.

Talking about digital media, Bharathiraja explained the importance of respecting co-technicians in cinema. He further stated that any derogatory comments made towards a person, especially women, are wrong. He then briefed the hurdles faced by a woman technician to grow up the cinema ladder and said that men should always be protective and motivate women to reach greater heights. Bharathiraja further added that one should have control over what they say and how they conduct themselves in any limelight event.

Finally coming on to Mansoor Ali Khan's statement, Bharathiraja said that he had crossed the limit through his opinion, and he did not realize his mistake, and refusing to apologize made things even worse. So, Bharathiraja asked Mansoor Ali Khan to apologize for his statement and move on for everyone's goodness. Bharathiraja also sent a humble request to cinema stars that no one should hurt others through their funny or comical speech.



Mansoor Ali Khan expressed his worry about not having an intimate scene with Trisha in 'Leo' during a press meet, and it turned into the reason for the controversy. Trisha then condemned the actor for his speech and called him sexist. Several cinema stars then came in support of the actress to blame Mansoor Ali Khan, and it transformed the controversy to a higher level. Meanwhile, Mansoor Ali Khan has refused to apologize for his statement, as he claimed it was a comical speech and criticized cinema stars for not hearing his side of the explanation.
