Bigil: Trailer of Vijay's film to release on October 2?

has been creating quite a buzz ever since the first look and songs were released. Vijay and Atlee’s third project Bigil will release worldwide on

October 25

. The duo has previously worked together for Theri and Mersal.

According to the sources, the trailer of Bigil is expected to release on October 2, and an official announcement regarding the same is awaited. Touted to be a

sports drama

, Bigil is said to be based on women’s football and it deals with the encouragement of women’s for sports. The film will see the ace actor in a dual role. However, the details about the two characters have not been revealed.

AR Rahman

has composed music for this flick, while well-known photographer GK Vishnu has handled the cinematography. Rubens is in charge of editing the film. Bankrolled by AGS Entertainment, the film also features Vivek, Kathir, Jackie Shroff, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Rajkumar, Devadarshini, Yogi Babu, Soundararaja, and G Gnanasambandam.
