Bose Venkat, who has played supporting roles in many
Tamil
films, has been roped in to play a pivotal character in ‘Thala’ Ajith Kumar-starrer ‘Viswasam’. Notably, Venkat gave a memorable performance as a police officer in last year’s ‘Theeran Adhigaram Ondru’.
Interestingly, Bose Venkat has dubbed for films like ‘Veeram’ and ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ and will be sharing screen space with
Ajith Kumar for the first time. ‘Viswasam’ was supposed to go on the floors last month. However, the shooting got postponed due to the ongoing strike in the industry. If reports are anything to go by, the film is expected to release by the end of this year.
In ‘Viswasam’, Ajith Kumar is collaborating with director Siva for the fourth time after 'Veeram', 'Vedhalam' and 'Vivegam'. The film is tipped to be a sure shot commercial entertainer and is being produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. Actress Nayanthara has been finalised as the leading lady in ‘Viswasam’, which also stars Thambi Ramaiah, Yogi Babu and
Robo Shankar in important roles. Reportedly, D Imman has already composed two songs for ‘Viswasam’.
