Venkat Prabhu launches Caarthick Raju's Kannandi's new trailer, film to have a theatrical release

Caarthick Raju's bilingual movie Kannadi's new trailer was released by director Venkat Prabhu. A romantic psycho-thriller the movie stars Sundeep Kishan, Anya Singh in the lead roles along with Poornima Bhagyaraj, Anandraj, Murali Sharma and Karunakaran, among others. The movie's music is by Thaman and the new trailer looks quite intriguing. Though there is no date mentioned on the release, the makers have said that the movie will hit theatres soon. Venkat Prabhu tweeted, "Very glad 2 bring da new trailer of #Kannaadi Featuring @sundeepkishan and @anyasinghoff , dir by @caarthickraju."Watch the trailer here: Directed by Caarthick Raju, the movie's Telugu version was released as Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene, earlier. Anya Singh played the female lead in the thriller with Cuckoo fame Malavika Nair and director Karthick Naren appearing in cameos.While there was news that the movie may opt for an OTT release. However, now the makers have confirmed that the movie will be having a direct theatrical release and the date will be announced soon. The movie received some good reviews in Telugu while most audiences appreciated the movie for its interesting premise and the spooky moments in the mirror track. Writer and director Caarthick Raju is known for his movies like Thirudan Police, Ulkuthu, Soorpanagai and his upcoming movies include, The Chase, besides Kannadi in Tamil.
