As most areas in Chennai were flooded with rainwater, the Tamil Nadu government has arranged rescue teams to save people. To help the government in the toughest situation, Suriya and Karthi have donated Rs 10 lakh to the government relief fund. Ajith's help to Vishnu Vishal and Aamir Khan

Vishnu Vishal was stranded in his house as his housing colony was flooded with water due to cyclone Michaung, and his social media post describing his condition went viral. Vishnu Vishal was then saved by the rescue team, while Bollywood actor Aamir Khan was also saved along with the former. Vijayakanth was discharged from the hospital

Vijayakanth was being treated at a private hospital in Chennai for over two weeks, and fans poured in prayers for the speedy recovery of the actor.
