Cheran breaks down

Ace director Cheran, who recently came under the scanner, courtesy the complaint filed against him by his own daughter, Dhamini recently responded to the media giving his version. The Raman Thediya Seethai director stated that he was not against his daughter falling in love.
But in the case of Chandrashekhar (who also happens to be the director���s assistant), Cheran apparently did a background verification and was not happy with it.He added that being a father, he wanted his daughter to be with the right person. The director broke down while explaining his stance to the media. He was accompanied by veteran actor Sarath Kumar and director Ameer.
20-year-old Dhamini had claimed that he was locked inside her home after Cheran discovered the affair.
