The unexpected Coronavirus outbreak has affected the lives of many, and countries across the world have been fighting hard against it since the past few months. In Tamil Nadu, the infection has been spreading rapidly, especially in Chennai and people from other districts have been moving out of the city to avoid being infected. In this context, director Cheran has had an idea and has a suggestion for the

Chief Minister

of Tamil Nadu on how the virus can be controlled in Chennai.

Cheran has written a message on his Twitter page, addressing the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister saying that the condition of Chennai is worsening both economically as well as in terms of health. He says in his note that fear has been increasing by the day and that people have been stuck for 90 days at their homes. A lot of people who do not go back to their hometowns are now thinking of going. So, he has suggested that this could be controlled in Chennai by sending the uninfected people living in Chennai to their hometowns safely. Calling it a humble request, Cheran has asked the government to atleast save those who are not infected.

Cheran is one of the promising directors in

Tamil cinema

, and he has won four National Awards for his films 'Vetri

Kodi Kattu

', 'Autograph', 'Thavamai Thavamirundhu' and '

Aadum Koothu

'. The director is next planning to direct Vijay Sethupathi, and working towards the film.
