'Chiyaan 62' update: Dushara Vijayan joins Chiyaan Vikram's film with SU Arun Kumar

Director SU Arun Kumar made everyone's head turn with his last release 'Chiththa' featuring Siddharth in the lead role. SU Arun Kumar then grabbed the opportunity of directing Chiyaan Vikram, and the film was officially launched with the tentative title 'Chiyaan 62'. The makers of 'Chiyaan 62' earlier roped in Suraj Venjaramoodu and SJ Suryah to play crucial roles alongside Chiyaan Vikram in SU Arun Kumar's upcoming directorial and they unveiled posters featuring respective stars to make their addition official. Following the two actors, 'Chiyaan 62' makers have now roped in Dushara Vijayan as the female lead of 'Chiyaan 62', and the latest addition strengthens the film further.


SU Arun Kumar's powerful casting for this Chiyaan Vikram's film has already increased the buzz. The shooting of 'Chiyaan 62' is expected to hit the floors this May, and Chiyaan Vikram will be sporting a cool new look for the film. Other than Dushara Vijayan, one more popular actress is said to be joining the cast of 'Chiyaan 62' and we can expect it to be announced shortly.

Chiyaan Vikram will be next seen on big screens in Pa Ranjith's directorial 'Thangalaan' and the film's new release date is yet to be announced. The Lok Sabha election has affected the film's release, and the makers now aim to release the film in May.
